Gorgeous as always... ^_^ Though I still think my favorite of all your works was the Fire Dancer.

Oh-- oh, stunningly beautiful. One of the best you've done in the tarot set., I think. It's very spare and clean, but detailed-- and there's tons of forward motion in your lines. (Also, I like the stacked rocks, bytheway.)

she'd have to be adventurous and have buckets of courage to calmly stand on that cliff. scares me just looking at this. seems a little simpler than many other Tarot designs that incorporate a lot of swirls and multiple animate an inanimate objects. i really like how the forest at the bottom looks with the river winding through it.

That is a beautiful valley scene, I particularly like the natural earthy colours and the way you've given a hint of foliage without getting bogged down in the detail.

Beautiful, but you know that.
I like the the stylized cliff.
It brings a lot of meaning to "seeking out the uncharted" and "expanding horizons".
Great work!

Excellent as usual. Love the landscape, love the cat, and I like how you made two of the wands into crosses. Was that intentional?

I love her flowing robe and the cat (I love the way you paint cats). And colors are very nice, perhaps a little subdued than your usual works, but gorgeous nevertheless.
One nitpick, the little cliff she's standing on is waaaay too thin, even if she's a weightless fairy and cats are light on their feet and whatnot, it just looks awkward, like it's a piece of floating rock too. I think it'd look better if you didn't make the extension of the really narrow part of the cliff quit so long

Difference of aesthetic sensibilities. For me, the thiness of the cliff is one of the main points for this picture. I purposely made it unrealistically thin to give it a surreal quality.

that makes sense. It doesn't hurt to give tarot cards a surreal feal to it

Every time you put up something new, I get the urge to try watercolors and give up pencils (temporarily, I could never just quit drawing). your style is awesome and very inspiring.
If I ever do start watercolours, I'll put the blame on to you!

The sense of depth in this is very moving. That cliff seems so delicate! I am afraid it will break under the figure's weight! It adds a touch of danger to the concept of exploration, which I think is nice, and kind of mystical.

I think one of my favorite parts about your wand series is that you didn't try to do three wands- you just took your own path and make them stalves. I like that alot. GJ!
