Count me Out - A Grassroots National Coming Out Day 2010.
What?
"A grassroots social media campaign called "COUNT ME OUT‟, whose goal is for social media users to “donate” their main profile image to include the word OUT or ALLY on National Coming Out Day, Monday October 11th. Participants are welcome and encouraged to utilize the days preceding and following Monday Oct 11th to participate as well. Should they not feel “OUT” or “ALLY” speaks to them as closely as another word of their choice, individuals are welcome to utilize another word or statement. For those participants utilizing Twitter, flickr, YouTube, the hashtag #CountMeOut will also be encouraged."
When?
Official Date: Monday October 11, 2010, continuing through that entire week - but as she has said, let's start now!
Why?
$Moonbeam13 's journal summed this up rather nicely, but as my own side note:
This last week there was a string of suicides. 5 gay men took their lives. Things like Count Me Out are wonderful support mechanisms for people to lean on before or after 'coming out'.

They are highly contrasted with your expression which is a bit scary, while the rainbow colours look very joyful. Even VERY joyful. (:
I also like the composition. It seems to be your eyes (rageful ones, I'd say), then, lower, your lips (again, rageful) and then there are pearls - contrast again! Pearls look nothing like rageful haha.
It seems a pretty good cause to me. (:
