Description
From left to right, top to bottom:1. In Photoshop, I laid down a solid background, then on a second layer I started doodling random blobs of color until it looked like something. I then took the eraser tool and refined the shape.
2. Suuuuuuuper rough shading. Still debating what to draw at this point.
3. I decided to flip the canvas. I redrew the head. More rough shading. Finally had an idea at this point
4. I started actually defining things at this point. Using a hard brush tool I made it look like she had a face
5. Shading on the rest of the body, just like how I did the face. I also adjusted some of the edges of her body, though it's kind of hard to see here. I didn't bother shading below the middle of the bust because I knew she'd be wearing a shirt.
6. On another layer I filled in the shape of the shirt. I also decided that I wanted her to have an arm, so I made another layer and draw an arm.
7. Filled in the eyes and shaded them a tiny bit. Also filled in the shape of her hair. I think I need to work on drawing ponytails, haha!!
8. Shading!! I also used liquify to change the shape of her arm and under her bust because it looked weird.
9. Using soft light I laid some colors down. I had no idea what to use.
10. Using various layer modes and colors, I tried to make her look not dead or zombie-like. There were like 30 something layers o_oU
11. Cleaned up the colors, because I got some outside the edges of her body and on her shirt
12. Colored her shirt, and after an accident I decided that it looked good as pink and green lol. Added a simple background aaaaand TA-DAA--AN ART.
This took me about 5-6 hours total. I took a break so I don't know how long it was...
