Oh gosh I can try but every time I start a pic for tutorial purposes I just lose interest halfway and never finish it...

after that I just slap a grey multiply layer on that and erase parts that are supposed to be lighter and paint the details on a normal layer above it. It's not very complicated, but it sure takes time.
