Description
It's a combination of stippling and cross-hatching. I think I lost some details in the wings along the way. Poor little fish....Penstix No. 3015-EF 0.5mm

wow, that's an awesome drawing! This is really good for just stippling and crosshatching, and makes a great exercise to just practice techniques. I love it! I think i might fave

(first step is to fav this picture then procede to comment on it) wow the detail in the wings in this picture is amasing. and very useful to me as well becasue I have been trying to find wings in this pose but haven't had a clue where to look for them.
in this I like the alteration between brush strokes and dots for forming the fish and bird. as well as that I think that the general movement in this piece is rather impressive.

It was on a full sketchbook page, so 8.5in x 11in (give or take a few inches for the width).

Can imediately see the ammount of effort and quality in this, stippling is very difficult as a primary teccnique in any work of art and I just love the textured effect it gave here. this is high quality and quite beautiful work

OMG! This must have taken you forever and plus a few years! It looks absiolutly great though! I love the detail and having to do stipling and crosshatching must have made your wrist spasm for like a week. I love stippling and crosshatching but my wrist can only take so much before it tries to kill me *twitches*

Thanx, it only took about 3 or 4 hours in one sitting. The time went by pretty fast and my wrist didn't hurt afterwards.
