Description
I really enjoy seeing how things are made, so even though I didn't document all the stages properly, I thought I'd post a process/bad tutorial picture.1 - I sliced up pieces of cardboard, bent the stiffness out and taped them together around my head cast to form the shape.
2 - Then I cut open the sides so I could get it off and on without ripping or discomfort. And to cover the inside with tape to make it more durable.
3 - Botched, but it was process, so I put it in. Covered it with glue and paper towels since I was too eager to finish it to wait till the next morning to buy paper mash and white paint. Only did the front to see if it would work, which it didn't.
4 - Covered it again with paper towels and paper mash, the teeth and gums are covered with paper mash and magazine pages to get the smooth texture. Painted with acrylics.
5 & 6 - Finished painting it, nail polished the teeth a couple of layers, then coated a thin layer of mate acrylic polish on it. And finally I glued in black pantihose fabric on from the inside.
