Description This is a life sized Licker head I'm sculpting as practice for our Resident Evil film..I'll be the main sculptor on the project, and I don't have much experience on a large scale, so I figured I'd better get in some practice . This only has only a couple hours into the actual sculpting, but you can tell what it's going to be. The finished sculpt will be the difference of night and day compared to these early shots. I'm also not useing the best clay for something like this, it's Sculpey bake & Bend >.>...*sigh*.

wow - that's a lot of bake + bend
I know what you mean about sculpting with it though - you bend it that little bit too far and it breaks off instead

It's paper clay and tin foil as the base..so the clay is a pretty thin layer..at it's thickest around the gums. I decided to use bake and bend for it's durability and for how soft it is (for the large scale)...but mainly because I dunno what else to use XD!
