Got some more painting done on this, and changed the claw as planned...still has a ways to go, but I'm very happy with it so far!

I'm actually maikng one like that. Tryna draw all tyrants and such. In all their stafes of transformation. Won't be posting till they're complete though.

That's cool. This one is roughly based of my boyfriend as Birkin (sorta a cartoony version of him). It's concept art for the film we're doing. As to how I'm going to construct these creature effects onto him, I'm still not sure. We're on the lookout for some artistic help. I can do all the sculpting and painting, no problem..but I'm not sure which materials and I dunno how to mold make yet. I normally don't like posting in progress pics of my drawings, but I'm posting in progress stuff so I can link it to the film forum mainly...but it's also good to get feedback on here.

Hmmm... For the little stuff some papier-mache(izat ryt?!?!?) would work. I make small props mslef. The disadvantage is they're a bit heavy. A lot cheaper than foam latex though.
