Description
(Aaaarrgh, no posting my stuff without my PERMISSION!!!)<< || Cover || >>
Should I have been putting disclaimers in the descriptions of all these pages? I made sure to label this comic as FAN ART, but will that protect me from a mob of Mickey Lawyers?
Anyway, I guess this is a wrap for the "Aftermath" chapter, and I feel I should, perhaps, go back to my regular art for a while because I've got my own list of original characters and stories I feel I'm neglecting. At the same time, it's become a bit of a dilemma because I know my serge in popularity is due to my Zootopia art, so it's a decision of "should I stay or should I go?"
Also, there are so many other Zootopia comics out there that I feel are much better than mine, not just because of how spot on the art is, but mostly, it's the stories that these other artists come up with. It makes me say things like: "Damn, I wish I had thought of that." It feels like there are less and less original ideas available to me put out myself while these other artists can put out their pages so much faster with their fancy digital art software. Meanwhile, I'm stuck behind with my actual pencil and paper. I do have an epic story in mind for the "Wilde-Hopps Chronicles" comic, but because it's currently being developed traditionally, it's just going to take time.
Please don't think that I'm bashing anyone, I love viewing the other comics and drawings, especially if they're composed digitally. I am just laying out my personal frustrations (and, admittedly, my subtle selfishness) that I really should get over, because with a movie like Zootopia, I should expect there to be hundreds of great artists simultaneously throwing their submissions all over the net.
ENOUGH BITCHING!!!
I just hope page eight is up to par, and there is more to come eventually!
(Zootopia and its characters are copyrighted to Disney, and I don't own any of it! There, are you happy Mickey Lawyers??)

Another beautiful addition to the comic, especially little tense Nick in the last panel. (Sooooo cute)
Now when it comes to you wanting to do other art, you should do whatever the hell you feel like regardless of what people want. Yes, I did, and I'm sure many others, found you through your Zootopia artwork, but that does not mean that you should only do what we may want to see. I may have found you through your Zootopia artwork but I've looked at your other art and it's really really good and I would love to see what you want to make. Just because people may want you to coninue making purely Zootopia artwork doesn't mean you should, make what you want and what makes you happy.
Now to talk about your artwork itself, it's incredible! You may not use "fancy digital art software" but you're able to make amazing peices of art with a pencil and paper and that is really something you don't see a lot of anymore. The entire reason I was drawn to your art is becaue it's different than what most people do, it was unique. It's not any worse than any other artwork out there, it's just different. It may take longer to produce, but that just makes it all the more special.
Lastly, as long as you don't claim any Disney characters to be your own, which I don't think you've ever done, you should be fine when it comes to copyright. If you really are being hassled by Mickey Lawyers they are probably just giving you a bad time, they can't actually do anything to you. You have the right, by law, to make artwork like this. Don't worry about them, you're safe.
Keep up the amazing work!

I was just being facetious about the lawyers. I still want to make more pages, I'll just see if I can find a balance with the comic and my other stuff.
As always, the feedback is much appreciated!

Don't abandon the good ol fashioned pencil and paper! There's a warmth to your work and I think it stems from that.
Anyway, dig the comic!

Yeah, when it comes to digital versus traditional, I always felt a little out matched.
