Should I have been putting disclaimers in the descriptions of all these pages? I made sure to label this comic as FAN ART, but will that protect me from a mob of Mickey Lawyers?
Anyway, I guess this is a wrap for the "Aftermath" chapter, and I feel I should, perhaps, go back to my regular art for a while because I've got my own list of original characters and stories I feel I'm neglecting. At the same time, it's become a bit of a dilemma because I know my serge in popularity is due to my Zootopia art, so it's a decision of "should I stay or should I go?"
Also, there are so many other Zootopia comics out there that I feel are much better than mine, not just because of how spot on the art is, but mostly, it's the stories that these other artists come up with. It makes me say things like: "Damn, I wish I had thought of that." It feels like there are less and less original ideas available to me put out myself while these other artists can put out their pages so much faster with their fancy digital art software. Meanwhile, I'm stuck behind with my actual pencil and paper. I do have an epic story in mind for the "Wilde-Hopps Chronicles" comic, but because it's currently being developed traditionally, it's just going to take time.
Please don't think that I'm bashing anyone, I love viewing the other comics and drawings, especially if they're composed digitally. I am just laying out my personal frustrations (and, admittedly, my subtle selfishness) that I really should get over, because with a movie like Zootopia, I should expect there to be hundreds of great artists simultaneously throwing their submissions all over the net.
ENOUGH BITCHING!!!
I just hope page eight is up to par, and there is more to come eventually!
(Zootopia and its characters are copyrighted to Disney, and I don't own any of it! There, are you happy Mickey Lawyers??)

Oh! Now I get it; Nick's living in Judy's house as a guest. Wait, when did she get a house? Regardless, from the looks of it, it would seem that Judy wants Nick to move in as a permanent resident. So, while they're not that kind of couple yet, (assuming they're a couple at all) they would like to be, I think.

Bahahahaha! Don't. Your art is awesome all to itself and at this point I see most of the other artists teaming up to do work with each others stories. Really it's bettered everyone as a whole and the fans reap the benefits. I certainly hope to see more of this comic I think I'm about half way through what you've put out so far.
Just so you know, I love the pencil art. With a talented hand it seems even better then the so called fancy digital art.

Your pencil and paper is an advantage! A lot of Zootopia fan art looks pretty similar. I've found myself drawn to the people that have their own style

A lot of the popular and/or well-made comics are either real sad or keep having Judy fall for some asshat bunny WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED and leaving Nick heartbroken. I like that this story focuses more on Judy and Nick. Not to say you shouldn't branch out the story if you want to

Awesome! As somebody currently writing a Zootopia fanfic, may I suggest scratching all your ideas down before you forget XP I took about a month off of writing to deal with school and it's been an uphill battle since. I really like your comic, and wouldn't want you to have the same issue, haha

Right, I'm more of an artist that a writer, so that's something I should've already been doing. I've had the same thing happen on one of my pages where I totally forgot the direction I was taking the story, and had to invent a totally new one!
The thing with Jack Savage gives me an idea that should be 'eventually redeeming' for his character. He should be, more realistically, an agent instead of just an anchor for drama.

Yeah. I can get down with idea of a Jack Savage if he wasn't just a tool employed to make Nick jealous. I actually had an idea for a fox OC that worked in a CIA-esque role, but I feel like the whole Jack Savage thing kind of consumed the "secret agent" role already, so I don't n ow anymore X(

It's tough, there are so many elements and deciding what should be cannon; ideas are racing through my head faster than I can catch them.
I too have an OC in mind, I even acquired permission from the creator Megan Fawkes to use her in my comic as well. It's starting to get crazy!
