Description
I have decided to redesign my Gobots Animated works. The reason for this is I wasn't entirely happy with the originals because I felt they didn't really capture the Transformers Animated look, especially compared to my new Rock Lords works. The main aims were to simplify and stylise, with the shading methods and linework being more akin to Transformers Animated. Back then when I did the originals it should be noted I was pretty new to colouring with Photoshop so hopefully these are better. Also the character sheet itself has been simplified, so no headshot or floating weapons, and I think it looks more impressive and less cluttered as a result. For Cykill, I wanted him to be more fearsome and imposing, with a more deadly looking alt mode, which was inspired by Ghost Rider's bike.

I feel like the main issue with this guy isn’t the idea, it’s just that- his name doesn’t allow for a lot of creative range. Like, with a name like “megatron” or even “leader-1”, those could be anything! But a dinky little cycle won’t do much against jets and trucks

I have liked that cartoon were with this design to transformers animated and if this franchise have had succesul than transformers animated, well is just my opinion.

Nice job. I like this version of cy-kill much better than your first one. The vehicle mode is much less outlandish and bulky, and the colors are closer to his original self, but toned down to look more menacing. Also I see that his robot mode draws a lot from animated megatron. Nice work.

Seems to me Cy-Kill got a new alternate mode, even compared to the original sheet... I like this one too, so maybe redux isn't a bad idea in this case (though I stand by my opinion of them from the previous post, sorry).
Generally speaking: job well done... but again without the space between Cy and Kill ^^'

Oh SWEET! I'm one of the few people who actually like old Cy-kill, but this is awesome! THIS Cy-kill has much more of a warlord look to him. Old Cy-kill always struck me as more of a Lex Luthor-ish administrative bad guy, like he's only in charge because he had the $$$ to build an army.

yeah i agree couldn't have said it better myself! My main aim was to make him as threatening and imposing as possible and look like an evil leader like Megatron. I felt the original was more of a comic character which worked and was good but I wanted something different. Glad you like!
