Monoculus was part of Demoman's fake ghost story. He's uncanon because it contradicts Valve's other explanation as to Demoman's eye. He lost it at age 15 (not 7) when making his first stickybomb. It detonated and the shrapnel took out his eye.

No, he isn't. The original story behind Demoman's eye was: He lost it at the age of 15, making his first experimental stickybomb which went off. The two stories are clashing now, yes? So one of them is fake, and you must remember that Monoculus was Demoman's ghost story in the comic.
