SAFARI DAY!
As you know Safari Park is a place where Pokemon live peacefully. The project is to make these Pocket Monsters look more realistic, with a bestial appearance. I added a Monster Hunter-like icon, because this is typically what I would add in the monster description!

Mr.Mime... Only the name speaks for itself... Even as a kid, the very first time I saw it, I was like "Ew... What the...??" But as you know, I like challenges! That is why I wanted to turn him into a kind of bestial horned Chacma Baboon (with a Rajang-like icon! One of Monster Hunter's wildest beasts!)

XD And you just made my day because it was my intention! Mr.Mime is a part of the original 151 first Pokemon, and the ones I grew up with, spending my time catching them all on my old gameboy color, so even though I don't really like it, it belongs to my childhood. But I still think its design is not great, so I wanted to turn this buddy into a wildest animal, and the chacma baboon just fitted the role!

It must've been pretty challenging in a way to draw and even re-create a Pokémon that you dislike ~ I usually always have a hard time drawing Pokémon I don't like because, no matter how good the drawing is, my brain just doesn't like it purely because it is a drawing of something I don't like, so it always looks terrible.
And of course, you are more than welcome

I understand the feeling, and this is why I thought it may be good to be proud of this drawing even if it changes the appearance of the Pokemon, but not its own essence^^

Thanks!! I thought it may be a good idea to redraw the original character with a brutal aspect, I like taking the worst designs I can ever get and rework everything the way I like, and... well I'm glad it seems to have worked for this one

xD The idea was to cross Pokemon with the typical bestiality you can find in Monster Hunter creatures. Mr Mime isn't really a Pokemon to me... He definitely lacks charism and doesn't even look like another Pocket Monster (like Jynx), he is more close to a random chubby boy mixed with a marshmallow, so I turned him into a ferocious baboon
