Description
I've seen Avatar a couple of days ago...WOW... just WOW 0.0
I've just found it amazing, and I definitely fell in love with Pandora >.<
I also really like Neytiri's character, even though she's got an animal-like appearance, she's attractive and very "human"
So here's a 2h speedpainting of her!!
Made with Gimp!

this is a very impressive work. I love the atmosphere you built up with die colors and the lights. those mainly cold colors give an awesome impression, especially the contrast to the yellow of the ice and the few pink/violet elements in the background
her eyes and her expression are just awesome. You really managed to put intensity into her look
that combined with the color/light atmosphere really cause a great impact
and I love these dots on her face - looks sparkling
that's why I give you 5 starts for vision and for impact.
Originality only got 3,5 stars because the theme and the atmosphere itself kinda reminds me of the trailers of that movie (still haven't seen it)
and 'only' four stars for technic because of the lack of details -> as mentioned earlier, the face is just awesome, but these light blue stripes on her body don't look as elaborated as the ones in her face. And the background looks rather simple as well - despite causing such a strong impact -and I'm impressed how you mangaged to create this effect with those minimalistic means
and if I take into consideration that this is a 2 hour speed painting ... I'm just - shocked. I give you an honest "WOW"^^
overall I really love this pic. You did an awesome job once again. (That's why I had to write you a critique - my first one ever - hope it's a tiny bit helpful)

Sunuva freaking... Man, I am so incompetent as an artist and looking at your work only further proves it. Oh well, I'm still giving up on improving.
Anyway, back to the pic. DAMN MAN! TWO HOURS?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? WHEN I SAW IT AS A THUMBNAIL I THOUGHT IT WAS A PHOTOGRAPH!
I've also scene the movie so I can judge pretty well one how accurate this is. Everything is the proper length, including the ears and neck, the nose is correctly flat and you did I nice job making the lips slightly open giving them a more dynamic appearance.
The lighting is probably the best aspect here, being so bright at the nose and darkest at the back of the neck, even including the light reflections off the eyes and jewels. The background is appropriately ethereal, suiting the spirituality that the Na'avi hold so dear. Overall, another fantastic job.

You know, these 2 softwares are not that different^^ Gimp is just the "free" version of Photoshop, but you can basically make the same thing with both

Not only does the colors in the background make the picture itself seem soothing to my eyes, the emotion is so vivid that I wish to see what she's looking at. The art is too serene to justify it correctly.
I'll say this, while the head shape is slightly off from the movie adaption, I'll say that its better this way. Bravo!

Haha sure! Greetings from Singapore! Lol haha art trades is when two artists trade their art, like I try to draw according to your request and vice versa. haha

It depends: when I don't have time, I don't accept requests, but when I'm free, NO PROBLEM!
