How do you do the fade effect though like in the hair it seems to fade a bit(the shadows) if you do it at full opacity?

Sorry for replying like weeks later but I'm using your tutorial and I was also wondering how you got the different line weights. No matter how hard or soft I press on the tablet I still get the same ling weight throughout the image and if I simulate pressue it of course only show in the middle. Am I perhaps doing something wrong/don't have some setting turned on?

Many thanks for any answer/help you can provide.

first of all, thank you for this tutorial~
But I do have a question about it...
about the inking part, to be more specific.
You don't have to answer me, but I've been wondering how to give the lines a certain weight more accurately...
because I only know about the -> draw path -> simulate pressure method, but by using that method you can only created lines/curves that have their weight right in the middle...but how do I do it more accurately? Or is there no way? Also...do I use soft or hard brushes?
An answer would be greatly appreciated, miss, although I know I can't expect you to
Thank you either way, miss! Take care

you can also draw out the shape and fill the shape of your line, i uses both. i would uses a hard brush for the inking or just fill the shapes of the line really.
