The classic "Giant Kraken attacks a ship" motive. Done this for my girlfriend, so I think it's a good pic to begin with on this site
Done in pencil on pergament paper, just scanned.

Well, I've done it after we had seen Pirates of the Carribbean 2, but my girlfriend has been a fan of giant squids looooong before that movie
