Description
One of the oldest pictures in my gallery, done this about 6 or 7 years ago. Studying architecture I wanted to create a motive with some buildings in it, and being a huge fan of the medieval architecture here in Germany, it came out as a small medieval town. The adventurer might be on a long journey, coming through the town and looking for a place to sleep. By the way, I do know, that the roof of the house in the rear is a bit wrong
Technique is ballpoint pen and pencil for the background.

If permission is given, would it be possible to receive a watermark free copy of the image?
Many thanks.

Thank you and thanks for ignoring the wrong perspective in that stupid roof in the background I always try to get the perspective right, so this mistake really annoys me -.-

Very cool, everything about it looks authentically medieval; the cobble-stone, the architecture, and the guy in there just looks like he sorta fits in perfectly. Awesome stuff, great work!

Oh, is it all still reminiscent of that kind of architecture?

Nah, not everywhere Most cities here have modern architecture as probably everywhere else. But in many cities and towns, there still are areas with medieval buildings (calles "Altstadt", directly translated I'd say "Old-Town"). Those parts are often packed with bars and restaurants as they have a really nice atmosphere.

Haha, that's really cool, I can imagine they do well with tourism too. Friend of mine goes to Germany and the Netherlands every once in a while, he's just happy about the drinking age, .

Thanks a lot! Well, unfortunately it always takes a while to draw something in ballpointpen, but I think it's worth the effort. Underestimated little tool
