Description Being the Watchmen fanboy that I am, and that my gallery is severely lacking in the fanart department(both a good and bad thing), I decided to do some.

Rorschach is like everyone's favorite, and I have to admit he might be mine, too..(but Comedian and Nite Owl are up there too)

I was thinking of coloring it, but seeing as Rorschach sees the world in black and white anyway, why not?

I sure hope the lot of you that are looking at this picture have actually READ Watchmen and are not thinking of waiting til the movie!! >________>; RIGHT!?

Rorschach is © DC Comics.
Watchmen is written by Alan Moore(the pompous wizard).

EDIT: fixed the hat NO THANKS TO HAT NAZI :shakes fist:

I've read/watched the motion comic. It was great. The voice acting lacked a little at times though.

I love his ultra right-wing attitude. He's not a "sociopath" at all. Not in the clinical sense of the word. According to liberals, socialists, and pseudo-utopians, all right-wingers are "sociopaths." In reality, Rorschach is the opposite. Rather than lacking empathy, he feels such strong empathy for the victims of violent crime that he's willing to put himself in all kinds of danger to avenge them.

I dig that.

...

I don't consider right-wingers sociopaths. I have several friends who swing right.

That's not it at all. He's not simply fueled by empathy. It's not that he feels sorry for the victims. He's fueled by what HE believes is justice in its purest form. Nothing more, nothing less.

He's not a sociopath, a sociopath is selfishness in its purest form. But he IS a psychopath. Even his creator has said so.

I think the more "clinically correct" term would be "psychotic." He does have Dissociative Identity Disorder which is usually caused by a psychotic break which is usually caused by a traumatic event. In Walter's case, it was the realization of what that degenerate savage did that that girl. That's what broke Walter's mind. When that happened, Rorschach t0ok over and picked up the pieces to carry on where Walter left off. From then on, Walter was Rorschach's disguise, not the other way around.

I'm sorry, I just thought that since you wanted people to read and not wait for the movie...

For example, I haven't read V for Vendetta, but I enjoyed the movie.

what i mean is that sometimes the book is much better than the movie, or that you get an imersive experience.

This is really good. I loved the comic, and Rorschach probably was my favorite. Dr. Manhattan was up there too, and Nite Owl.

Great job. I like the mood of the picture. Black and white certainly does its job. The writing looks great too.

Rorschach is a pretty cool character, admittedly my favorite. I'm hopeful the movie will be as cool as it looks. I think the director's got the right idea for the most part.
