this was more or less a test to see if i could make this properly.this is made from pizza boxes, rip-ties, paper towel tube, hot glue, and acrylic paint.
took approx 5 hours (minus drying time)
weighs approx 7-10 lbs
the tube handle is too flimsy. while it can be held with two hands, it would probably fall apart with one.
when i attempt again i want to use foam board. that would be much sturdier!
also, the record moves :3

Real nice, but I seriously doubt that it weight 7 to 10lbs if it's mostly made of cardboard! It would be like gluing 2 bricks together!
But still pretty neat

lol i dont' have a scale, i was guestimating. but it really is quite heavy, the handle buckles when i hold it. i suspect the 2 coats of paint saturated the cardboard. but no matter, it IS a prototype. the real one (when i get to it) will be made with sexy sturdy foam-board, oooh yea!

I was originally making a plan so the extended part would go in and out, but it was going to be way too complicated for me, so now I'm going for the broken one because I'm lazy
