Description
"The End of Pwincess Woona."
Tia did nothing to aid her sister, her duty as Princess held her back.
Woona had worked so hard to get her Cutie Mark just so that she could be at her sister's side, but none of it mattered, the Pegasi trained Woona ruthlessly until she was up to their disciplined standard of Princess.
Woona was never seen or heard from again, and regal Princess Luna would emerge in her place almost a decade later.
The monarchy's plan was to divide the Royal sisters between the two most powerful tribes, Celestia to the Unicorn tribe, and Luna to the Pegasi tribe. Then when the two became of age they would be in leadership positions enabling them to unite the tribes once and for all, bringing harmony to the land of Equestria.
However the cultural differences between Unicorns and Warrior Pegasi were grievously overlooked.
Celestia was "groomed" by the Unicorns to become their leader.
Luna would be "forged in fire" by the Pegasi, Luna would not know fun nor happiness, nor would it be the last time Luna would be sent far away from her sister.
In the end all pony kind would be united in true harmony for a thousand years...
...all at the cost of one scared and helpless little filly who just wanted to be with her sister.

Me: Change the mornachy's plan NOW! I know what would happend to your sister if you don't change it!
Tia: Okay.
Me: *go back to the real world* Now Woona and Tia will be happy forever and ever

I can actually see where the origins of this were. Back in greek times, the spartan children were judged at birth. If they were sick or deformed, they were left to die. Had they survived that, they were taught to fight from the time they could walk. The boys were taken away at age 7, and thrown into boot camp for their "agoge" period. They were underfed, given a harsh and strict upbringing. Thievery was encouraged, and they were thrown into the wilderness at times. They were taught to never show emotion, or betray their true feelings. This lasted until age 20, where a fine warrior had been crafted.
It's not actually that surprising considering when the time period for this was set. I'm sure ponies had this period at some point in their civilization and I'm pretty sure it's likely to be this one.
Moving on, It's a really good storyline, and the art is superb. Keep up the good work ^^

I love Luna, she's my favorite character in the show.
Am I a Brony? I think no, but you decide, I watch the show, but if at a convention I sometimes want to burn the place to the ground for how obnoxious some of those people are, I don't want to associate with most of them at the very least.

Wow. That is one fucked up way to make a leader. "Torture the ever loving shit out of them to make them into a good leader." No, that is how you make a sociopath. Sheesh! No wonder Luna went batshit crazy during the nightmare moon incident. It's a wonder she didn't break down SOONER. Fuck, god knows if I were in Luna's place I would have probably snapped the necks of all the pegusi who tormented me as soon as they let me go.
