Who knew that wanting to gain extra limbs was so hard? Even with three heads on him Pythos' attempts to gain a 'tauric form were meager at best with perhaps only one or two extra legs sprouting off of his hips with no animal body between them and they right away disappeared leaving him two legged again.

Even Unicorntaurs couldn't be of much use because they were as elusive to find as a normal Unicorn and Centaur combined; and Centaurs tended to be not be strong magic users by themselves instead resorting to rituals and prayers to deities.

Pythos needed something more reliable and he thought he had the answer but it was even more elusive than a Unicorntaur. Some mystical impossibility called a Centaurpede; a creature that was extremely legged to be a herd of horses by themselves.

You'd think that something that occupied a pastureland by themselves would stand out but you'd be surprised. Even with three heads upon his shoulders and looking almost all around him at once the rolling hills and grass just always led to more rolling hills and grass and no Centaurpede, and he'd been looking for a week.

At times it seemed like he was close, there was a distant hoof clopping that'd reach one heads ears and lead in a direction but then it would fade again. Could this thing ever be found?!

Pythos gave one last look around himself, turning a slow circle to give his heads a full view around the valley. It was then his right head sighted something, as did his left as they turned about behind him and he wheeled around so all three heads could look. There was something out there, a visible line of solid brown horses led by a rider at the head end of the train. The distinct lumbering motions of a canter and hoof beats became even more apparent as the beast turned and approached finally stopping.

And what a sight it was; Pythos didn't dare blink lest the creature just poofed and disappeared before his eyes, even as more and more horses were gathered around side of the riders lead horse, wings flapping and the train gradually slowing but even still it lead around the foot of the hillside hinting at yet more horses to appear in view.

"What do you seek?" came a simple question from all three heads at once. "You've come here for something to get lost in this vast place." followed his right head.

Pythos almost forgot what words he'd been thinking about this past week in his search. Asking for being a master of many legs seemed like such an easy thing to ask after all up until now when presented with the very beast to do it.

All his heads spoke at once. "I want to be able to become...you, only as a cheetah. A Cheetahtaurpede." he finally choked out.

The Centaurpede seemed unsurprised at the request as if everyone that had come before had asked the same thing of them. "We can." simply said his left head, followed by them rearing up and charging their three Unicorn horns and spreading their arms wide. "Let’s begin." they all three said and Pythos winced, there was a presence in the air bridging the distance between himself and this train of winged Clydesdales.

There was a familiar and forceful tearing behind him that upset his balance, the feeling of two added legs and his tail no longer being directly behind him. He'd felt it before, but not like this, this time he actually had a cheetah body under him, and this felt...permanent, it didn't vanish mere minutes after it had appeared, and it became evident that it wasn't going to stop either as another cheetah burst into being behind the first, giving the growing Cheetahtaurpede his first difficulties in just keeping to his eight paws. Guess this is what it took to master a lot of limbs, getting thrown right into it and figuring it out as a means of necessity!

By the time the fifth cheetah had appeared Pythos' heads were overwhelmed by what to do. Any new bodies just appeared sprawled out in the grass, zigzagging crazily against each other and trailing back behind him as his length kept increasing. Their rapid growth and appearance lead up to twenty-five of them now attached.

A hundred, a hundred seventy, two hundred, two hundred fifty.

With a relief Pythos three heads gasped as everything firmly got brought to a stop.

"Ready?" came the Centaurpedes voices, waiting for the new leggy creature to get to all his paws.

OMG, this is definitely the most massively multi thing I’ve ever done. Started this all the way back around Thanksgiving. It’s certainly the most stock photos I’ve ever used for a single-character manip before.
