So, when doing wet fur, you merely have the fur going downwards, when using the blend tool to make the fur outline?

Yeah, for this one I increased the hardness a bit more than I usually do on the Smudge brush, to show the fur clumping, and used straight downward strokes on the undersides where the fur would be hanging
