Description My character for an ongoing tabletop RPG I've playing with a couple friends for...gosh, close to a year now.

They're a Leech, which is basically the tinker/medic/engineer type class. Lou themself specializes in medical stuff and safecracking, but their true dream is to be a master tailor and retire from their life of crime.

Howdy, by the way. It's been a while! I'm mainly just using dA as a gallery site as tumblr burns itself to the ground. I'm MUCH more active on twitter!Β twitter.com/Pythosart

Wow, this went dark real fast. Looking at the beginning, it looks akin to Prince Naveen from Princess and the Frog, irritatingly harmonious curves of the face complementing each other, the it says his face is literally a mask and shows a bit of a crack and I'm all "wait, whaaaaaat?" and wondering do I want to see what's beneath. Then there's some blood and I'm like "what's going on? This is going too fast. Who hit the fast forward button? Where's the remote?" I sort of want to know the long story, even though it frightens me.

Well, I'll take it as a compliment that you're interested despite being grossed out!

There's something inherently charming about combining light and cheerful things with horror aspects. It becomes more than the sum of its parts. On some level, I feel a need to shield myself from scary content because I have a personality disorder that makes it hard to keep fantasy apart from reality at all times (especially in the dark), but I still have some attraction towards it like aΒ moth to a flame.

Is this an original story/concept?

Hey I know you said you got it, but just for anyone else trawling the comments:

Yes, sort of! It's my own player character from a game of Blades in the Dark (a tabletop RPG). The setting isn't ours, but we've pretty heavily altered it and all the characters are completely original.
