For the Alphabestiary challenge. The creature is the Catoblepas . You can read up on it there. (The words "Alphabestiary" and "Catoblepas" are links. Apparently they're difficult to see.)I like red too much XD

The horns are particularly fantastic. And there's never a problem with red! It's a bold colour which seems to make a lot of people shy away from it. (I know I do, at least) So seeing an artist work so freely with red, to me is a good sign of confidence.
That and it's just an awesome colour. :3

Most people I know stick to either reds and browns or greens and blues. I seem to like longer wavelengths

Oh, very nice! The scale-like details and the spinal protrusions give it a lot of character. The windswept hair was a great touch as well. Very excellent!
