For #TheusBeastsI wanted to draw a Vulf, so here it be. Read up on them here [link]
We're on the Arthropod unit in Zoology, so naturally I just had to add a whole bunch of crustacean/insect/chilopoda/exoskeleton bits.

Hmm, I have a concern I'd like to point out and this is just constructive criticism: The legs of the animal don't seem thick enough to actually hold it up. To be more precise, this beast seems very large and heavy-weighted so I thought the legs would be a bit thicker or bigger.
On a different note, this piece of art is fantastic! I love the way it's colored and the detail you put into it. I give you five stars.

The detail on this is just crazy, I can't stop staring at it.
I really like the blended elements of it. Fur and shells are something I wouldn't think would work together, but they look absolutely amazing together on this.

I was about to say something about the lobster and centipede like parts, but I finally read your description and am now looking at all the other things you mentioned as well, lol.
Amazing detail. I love how there are so many little things that add to the larger perspective of the creature as a whole. It just gives this so much to look at. And at the same time, it's not a jumbled mess, but one, unmistakable creature of its own design. It's like a spectacle of grand variety and wonderment. Just amazing.
