Yep, the head and legs are pretty directly taken from the Collectors themselves, just repurposed to fit a quadruped

First, the Reapers turned some of the Protheans into husks and soldier-husks that had wings on them and can use firearms. AND NOW the Reapers turned some of the Protheans into husks that walks on four legs!?
