Wicked awesome portrait by the way. The right side looks a little blotchy, but that's just nitpicking and I know it. This guy (gal?) looks like some sort of noble from an ancient/advanced alien empire. Perhaps it is the king of some far-future human royalty, when Man has transcended and passed the Singularity.
But who knows,

There is something in how the thing is postured that makes me see it as a person rather than just some weird thing. I'm not really sure how to put it but I can "see" a kind of expression on it yet the expression is not one I can identify (if that makes sense)

oooh, I like. The way you've painted the head makes me think it's made of the delicate bone on crab shells. Feels rigid and sharp edged, tiny teeth on the rims. Contrasted so nicely with the technology and the culture. Is it a part of your headworld or a random creature?

Crustaceans are the best okay
It's not part of my headworld, but the machines in it do have a similar sort of construction. They have armor like that of an orchid mantis and very few "mechanical bits". (They're supposed to be bio-mechanical, and this is my somewhat heavy-handed way of suggesting that)

I'd call it 'Envoy'. He looks like he's somewhat important, whatever it is, with his finery and pose. Maybe he's the head diplomat they sent to talk to us monkeys. On the art side, holy shitsnacks, great stuff! You are super talented. Keep it up.

because its reminds me of a royal portrait. Btw this is a beautiful piece Pytho. I love how realistic it look for something completely out of this world (almost literally). Love that broach on the robe and the way you colour the metals! XD
