Oh, I have my defaults, certainly. As you've probably noticed, there's a specific body type I tend to use for my creatures. This one was more trying to break away from my norm, hence the serpentine body and more abstract features.

Oh now that's pretty.
Love the mottled hues on it's hide. And the soft kelpy fronds in the backgrounds. I would certainly not shirk from giving this fellow a few ritual ceremonies or two.
