deadmau5 says "COME AT ME BRO"If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you know I'm a deadmau5 fan as of this month. And when I'm a fan of things, I'm a fan of things.
So here. Have a mau5 with a Super Hammer. deamau5 is a gamer, so I thought the hammer would be appropriate. I was going to give him a Minecraft sword, but I got frustrated with making pixels look painterly. So Nintendo Hammer it is.
As for the text, it looks nice and I needed to appear to be doing graphic design work in order to keep my teacher away. I didn't want her to take my iPod D: We're not supposed to listen to music in school, but I do anyway. In three of my four classes.
Critiques would be appreciated. I want this looking good for Animazement. And if someone can help me with his hands, I'd be very happy. A redline would be favorite.

Approx. 2 hrs and a lot of music.
I'm also in love with Skrillex, Wolfgang Gartner, and Bassnectar, but they don't have cool stage things for me to draw. As far as I know.
Plus, I'm a little bit afraid of Skrillex's hair.

There is something mesmerizing about the talking LED mau5head that goes "sometimes things get complicated". It's half scary and half OH MAN I WANT IT.

[EDIT] Okay, fixed his ears. Paiiiinnn to do without a tablet. And now I hate Elements 6's lack of warp tool. Grrhrhrhrh
[EDIT] Fixed his arms and hammer. Switched his hands on the hammer handle because the way they were would be very uncomfortable. Unless Joel is a lefty. Is he?
Added my personal watermark, because I didn't like dA's watermark plastered all over his crotch.
[EDIT] Changed ears again. They're rounder and have a more matte look to them.

Sort of, I guess? I'd watch it, but I have a hard time taking anime seriously any more. Maybe two years ago, but I've moved on.
deadmau5 (dead-mouse, not dead-mau-five) is a Canadian House producer and my personal favorite artist in electronic music. His music is excellent and he does one hell of a live show. The "mau5head" is kind of his logo/stage character, though he performs without it sometimes.
If you're into electronic music, give him a listen.

What really drew my attention to this piece was the shading on the suit. Very realistic and quite sexy. Also: nice job on those ears. Perfect shape and matte-ness. :3

I wouldn't make one out of papier-mache. I prefer this method:[link] It's durable and perfectly spherical, but takes a lot of time, money, and effort. Seems well worth it, though.
