Aaaand this is where we'll leave our heroes for now. Again sorry for the wait (finals and also this update is 15 pages rather than the usual around 7) but here it is. So now is I good time to tell the last details of the battle: Switched in Jojjo to do some damage on the sleeping snorlax. It wakes up and uses Headbutt and Jojjo dies immedeatly. Sends in Swann to try sleep powder again - it misses and the Snorlax kills Swann with its next headbutt. Bimm and Kato were in their reds. I didn't pick up the game again for a week ... So ...ΒRIP Jojjo Lvl 3 - 29

It makes sense Robin would never take Snorlax with them, not with everything that he's done to them. But oh god....Jojjo and Swann....both at once.Β
Oh god what is Kato going to do or feel once he wakes up, and Jojjo's not there anymore!?
And then Robin and the team separated??Β

i just barely discovered this, oh dear lord my heart..!
the dramatic scene where we discover that jojjo and swann didnt make it, and everyone's reaction to it, was SO spot on. My whole body hurts just watching that scene. its just too good. and everything after it is just more weight to add....
I hope to see more soon. this is truely one of the best nuzlockesΒ

That feeling when a battle is so devastating that you're actually relieved that "only" two PokΓ©mon died... Holy hell. ;A;
Jojjo and Swann were so great, they'll be missed. ;w; ;w; ;w;
Puck's expression at the end when he gets thrown into the water... And the sadness of the chapter culminates in Robin's capture. This story is so well written aahhhhh

Man... the sadness in this comic is truly palpable.
My only hope is that perhaps this will leave some room for Dolph in the future.

And this is why this is my favourite nuzlocke. You hit right in the feels, stir them up, then tear them to pieces with a chainsaw. (I swear it's a compliment, I've never seen a more realistic depiction of what the nuzlocke pain feels like)

I normally don't really care too much for this nuzlocke comic stuff cause they're usually just too...poorly written.
But damn, I mean DAMN. You know what you're doing here. Everything is just done so damn well in this comic. The art is perfect, the writing is solid, the characters are great, and strangely, the drama works...which is weird cause it's still Pokemon and everything but god dammit you've made it work. Your comic is amazing.

This is so emotional, so tragic... and so fucking good. Don't ever stop, I want to see this nuzlocke until the very end, no matter what happens. The watercolors are absolutely perfect and the story is breathtaking. You have a serious gift, don't you ever forget that.
Also, everything happens for a reason. But I bet you already know that.
