Spirit temple, hell yeah. If I had to pick one temple from OoT, it would probably be this one (Water being right behind). Not that the puzzles are that funny or memorable. Neither are the enemies. I think it's the overall atmosphere. The mystical music that just hits you like a bomb in the face when you first enter it. And how you gotta travel through time to clear it. I never want to leave this place. Well ... except that time I played Master's Quest's version of the Spirit temple. Greatest mindfuck in my whole life of gaming. Took me three years to beat.Anyway, since this was my fav temple I decided to really put some effort in it, and I gotta say I'm pretty glad with it, even though there are a few things I wish I had done better. So, yeah ... just one picture left then ... c:

I liked how the Goddess of the Sand statue resembles a giant Buddha statue, meditating under the cobra and everything. It made me sad when you had to destroy its face though...

Amazingly, 5 years ago when I was 15 I was inspired by this same image in the game, and I drew about the same thing--the woman with the cobra... Very nicely done. The music too inspired me. Such a great game, it's close to my heart to this day, means a lot to me.

This is by far my favorite temple. Also, it is the only one that seemed to be made like a temple and not an obstacle course... for the most part.

Yes, it has a very strong 'temple-feel' unlike .. like the shadow temple. The whole thing with the lights felt like it could have some actual religious/mythological purpose for the ones who built the temple. :d

Augh, just the whole presentation of it.... You really have an eye for composition.
And the texturing is just perfect.... and the shading and contrast.... gwah, I could go on for.... too long I'm sure.

The spirit temple was also my favorite temple as well. As far as critiquing it the only thing I can say is that the lighting is just a bit different, but also nice. The inside of the temple is dark, however I do think that your choice of lighting gives it a very open feel in contrast to the dimly lit look in the game. With the position of link and the lighting, it makes the center focus the statue and link's discovery of it, which is well done. Overall, nice artwork!

Yes, that's true, yet I wanted to focus on the beams of light (since it's such a big part of the temple) and, well. I don't think it would have looked any better if it was darker. Had I picked another room to illustrate it might have been darker though ... :d always thought of the big room with the statue as some kind of church-like chamber. So well.
