Please help me out! igg.me/at/catmouf :3It took me ages...
This is one of the cities I use for my upcoming comic "Lemon 3". (When that comic's finished, only the birds know...)
The background was mostly made in Painter 7.0, the text was imported from Photoshop CS, and Maja was inked by pen, scanned, and CG-ed in Photoshop.

This is an absolutely amazing piece and the aesthetic itself is clean (read: rusty, but in a good way) and unified, and the complexity and detail density, as well as the peculiar angle, are great, I could make a list of all the cool things about this, but I can't *falls*

"Hmm, what should I do today? Sigh... this city is so small."
The city-scape is simply gorgeous! Very expansive and industrial, yet harmonized like a sculpture. It's like a really big sculpture that you can live in! The background is very effective, with the wires covering the high roadway. The animation style is professional, one-hund-red pah-sent! There's also the 100% chance that I'm adding this to my favorites.

Like what most other people say, your background is beautiful! Your character is cool too but unfortunately for her, the background takes the cake. Great planning and perspective and for most parts, very real looking. How did you have the patience to pull this off?

The character is weak, I admit. The patience comes from knowing what it will look like in the end, and a lot of inspiration from Hirata Shuuichi. :3

@_@ Ahh, the depth... it feels like I could step forwards into it. Against it, the anime figure seems almost plain (still very nice, of course, but the colours aren't as fully rendered), but the city...! Ah, the city...
