Description
Another map in progress...and by "in progress", I mean I have been working at it on and off for a couple years. Still, I'm about 80% through this: www.goodreads.com/book/show/53…(1980 edition) so perhaps Draft 1 will be done sometime in the next couple months.
Then of course, I need to do Draft 2, which will mean updating all 500-plus entries to the "modern day" and making adjustments to the "real" countries...so here's hoping for before 2017!
Edit: well, a bit more than 2 months, but progress! Alas, I have now decided to add in some other stuff - the lack of Atlantis is indeed a bit wrong. And what of the Plateau of Leng?

This is really impressive! Out of curiosity, what do the pale greenish areas stand for? And the large green nation in northeast Africa would be Kush/Nubia? And boy, Europe is sure looking crowded!
What impresses me the most is how much you warped the shapes of the continents while keeping nations recognizable, although I can't help but notice some borders look a bit... intermittent.
And I agree Atlantis would make a fitting addition, although finding the space might be a challenge. At least Leng has most of Tibet to itself. Out of curiosity, are you planning to include the Mountains of Madness?
But seriously, this is a very impressive map.

Wow, this completely outdoes my attempt at a fictional lands map. Great work!

Very awesome! I especially like that, despite adding a huge country between the Netherlands and Germany, you've still managed to keep the basic shape of Europe/its countries intact. Really cool. Minor quibble: if ever a map screamed out for continent-specific numbering/coloring for the notes, it's probably this one!
Will you also be adding places from the Marvel Universe like Wakanda and Latveria?
(Apologies if they're already in there, I haven't been able to read all the notes yet!)

I'll probably do something geography-specific in the second draft: I've been just working through the book alphabetically.
As I said, it's mostly older stuff, but I might throw in a few more recent fictional countries when I finish up.

Okay...so this is any landmass that's been mentioned in fiction?

As many as possible from the book I linked to. It's mostly older stuff, probably due to copyright issues.
