Finished November MSE for Nyru!

What is she thankful for? Life. And what better represents life than the young? Just so you guys know I have decided Nyru will retire from being a Beta and instead become a full-time pup-sitter. Just kidding, though I think she deserves it after all she has been through! lol Nyru absolutely loves puppies, and considering she has not been around them since her sister's children were born in her old pack, she is now THRILLED that Vale has so many! They always bring her joy, even if they are not her own. Even the Havir puppies are welcome to use her as their personal playground. So yes, she is thankful for life; not only in just BEING alive, but for the new lives that have joined her in a restored Vale -- young OR old! She welcomes them all.

With that aside....I am claiming this as Nyru's 100th bone! Woohoo yay Nyru!

If you want to get technical, she hit 100 a while ago, but I spent 28 last year to upgrade her through the ranks -- haven't spent another one since. But this will be her 100th SAVED bone that shows up in the log on the member's page! When I cash them in for November it will say I only have 99 until December 1st, when I cash in the extra one I have ready and waiting.

I am so very proud of this piece and really poured a lot of time and energy into getting it as close as I visualized in my head. Part of that is because this is sort of a tribute to Nyru and all she's been through, as well as a bit of a "last hurrah" for her. No, she's not retiring, but my focus will be switching primarily to Gabriel and his development. Nyru has more to do in her life but I believe, on an epic-plot level, she's probably spent, lol. Who knows, but she will start taking a backseat to Gabriel from now on, so I wanted to give her one last fabulous piece to celebrate her life and career within the Domain!

The other part of why I spent so much time on this...I've been having a lot of trouble "liking" my style, as I just don't feel it's up to snuff, if that makes sense. I see so many people who have improved since they joined the group (and outside the group too), and until now, I hadn't seen it for myself with my own work. But this piece is something I can't stop looking at because I captured everything I wanted and just love everything about it! So this also doubles as my own "what I'm thankful for" image; I'm thankful for the group and being a part of it, because without it, I don't think I would have improved or drawn nearly as much as I have over the last two years. You guys keep me motivated and inspired and I just love collaborating and working with everyone to give these characters life! So I'm grateful for all of the folks in Domain-of-the-Wolf for being awesome. You guys rock and I look forward to more awesome plots, characters, and meeting new people! Thanks gang and stay fabulous.
