Description
Ah, just a scribblesheet where I tried to figure out what my project for the school trip would be and experimented with india ink and watercolour. The topic was self-image/external-image, or masks, or.... well yeah, it was kind of vague. My picture that resulted from this is here: [link] , and schoolpal ~kevovski 's picture under the same topic is here: [link]

FFF INK AND WATERCOLOR IS THE BEST MEDIUM EVER?
You also do it very well I must say.
I also must say, I love the way you do creatures. Were you one of those people who started drawing animals when they were little?
(Your textures too. Textuures.)

FF, I have to say I couldn't get the hang of it. Loves me some ink though.
Absolutely. First it was unicorns, then dragons, then it started branching out into all kinds of odd things at around 8. Because of this long-standing history of doing beasties, however, I now have to struggle horribly with humans.. D:
(textures? where)

You've got better hang of it then me, haha.
Honestly, I think starting out with beasties is an advantage. I mean, people can learn to draw humans whenever they want, but it takes a lot of practice to get good at drawing things that have distinctly imaginary anatomy. And it's probably a big advantage learning it early, 'coz you can channel kid-like imagination better. Admiration!
(Like, feathers, scales, fur, WELL I NOTICED IT)

PHWAAAAR.
The ink makes your pics... somehow old-er. Like they belong in those dark and nifty old bound books that ye olde knights in shining armor would have made. (well...their scribes actually. Whatever.)

Forsooth verily it is true.
You like it as a medium? It's gotta be fun to experiment, I've still got bloody trouble with Crayola Watercolors.

I don't, actually. As soon as anything gets into the area of mixing colours and water I tend to flounder and fail, and I get really frustrated with it.

Well, your frustration has impressive results. I hope things go well for your other mediums!
