DO NOT USE/STEAL THIS ART WITHOUT (C) AND MY PERMISSIONAnother fan-art for awesome HTTYD (How to train your dragon) with Night Fury (or wild Toothless X3). I need more practice with sky and rocks.. But anyway..

Mm.. Why you all think that he (dragon) can't fly? This is not Toothless when he has broken tail, this is another Night Fury.

I guess it's pretty easy to make that mistake when you've watched the movie and realized that there wasn't a single other night fury than toothless in it.
Plus, the motive has this wistful feel to it which makes it even easier to project that specific toothless into this picture

I don't think you need much practise on the sky tbh, the clouds have quite a natural feel (well even though full clouds seen in this way are sorta uncommon, the clouds seem feasible and look great) but my only gripe is the obvious colour shift in the night sky. I'm not a personal fan of this while others may be. The actual rocks look fine, but the way they are shaped is a bit odd, with many combining to make a seemingly flat surface gives it more a feel of cobblestone floor in a dated building rather than outside in nature, where they will generally poke upwards at odd angles and shapes.
All in all I like this artwork, especially the horizon line

LOVE IT!!!! I have actually been to a place where you can see the cloud line like that at sunset and it's PERFECT! I love the moon peeking out and I love the entire composition of the piece! So excited! DVD release FINALLY OCT 15TH!!!!
