Description
Another piece of How To Train your Dragon fan art, a bit different from my other posting.Version II:
After seeing the film again I revamped the file with some changes-- fixed toothless's tail and made the file larger for those who requested it as a screen saver. Thanks for all of the comments!

Don't be down on yourself you are just working up the learning curve. Toothless looks great and the clouds give great atmosphere. They actually look dragonesque.

I feel like I'm watching the end of the movie, minus the glaring sun that fogs out Hiccup and Toothless at the end. This is very beautiful! Good work!

IDK if this makes any sense, but for me I always just pretend the virtual paint is a mixture of pen and watercolor...
But I love this! and I envy your clouds... how do you do them? I am HORRIBLE at clouds... they're just pure fluffiness...

Hah! I wish it took 2 minutes, that would have been awesome considering my work schedule at the moment! It's was fine working on the clouds but it's going to take some more time perfecting the dragon.

Wow, I loved this scene in the film, especially the music!
The beauty of this pic is how Toothless is flying at the very side. It is highly inspiring for art as well as making me desperate to jump back out to the countryside to wander ever on. The anatomy of Toothless is brilliant and perfect and I can almost feel the wind going by him! The bit that annoys me though is that the clouds are a tad bit dark, but I really like the coulours and design on them
What made me come here in the first place? The flag thing on the tail. It is lovely and bright and is perfect for the lighting in the background!

This piece is very atmospheric in the sense that you get a wonderful conceptual view of space- a rarely used attribute in some art these days- and the warmth of the painting by the colors of the clouds and sky together. You did a lovely job, and this is quite a unique view; I haven't seen a picture with Toothless/Hiccup from this view yet! Lovely job dear.

I think it's beautiful.
The spongey look of the clouds is so perfect for this style, and the colors are so low and easy on the eye. The composition is very interesting, too--I love how Hiccup and Toothless are rather small and off to one side, giving the clouds room for attention.
