Description
This guy is actually not just a lizard man but a member of one of many alien races I created for "A Place in Space." Reptilians are just too cool to leave out. Once again I used gouache on watercolor paper.Update: Fixed the ill-proportioned arm.

His-her-it's-whatever-hands and body, etc, are a bit too human to be alien. Try changing it a bit.

OH! Freaky, yet very cool. The details are wonderful here. The eye is really..well..eye catching. It's done very nicely. I'd have to agree on the arms though, they look mismatched. But overall, it's very lovely, can't wait to see this and other creatures you introduce into your story.

The colors you used give it a very cold and menacing demeanor. I also like how you posed him, like he's ready for attack or stalking his prey... My only crit would be that his forearms are too different from each other. I don't know if it's a characteristics of that alien race, but I keep focusing on that part instead of the whole picture. But I could be wrong and that's how you wanted it.

Yes, his arms are mismatched but I didn't mean for them to be that way. When I noticed the problem I was too far along to fix it so I just left it the way it was.
