Lily and James Potter.Sorry about the bad quality.
I haven't ever coloured with pencil before so I'm pretty pleased with the outcome, even though there's much to improve.
Although Lily doesn't look quite the way I imagine, I like this interpretation of her and I like my James. His smile still has a touch of arrogance about it. *winks*
Oh and URGH that hand was a pain in the ass! I've rarely drawn a male's hand, for one, but from the perspective I wanted - never! So it looks weird but hey.

Wow, this is amazing. I love the James' smile and how bright you made Lily's eyes. People never seem to make Lily or Harry's eyes bright enough. The way I see it is, They have bright emerald green eyes not puke green or blue or grass green. You got them perfect though!

Well, my first time at TRYING really. I mean, I've coloured in pictures with pencil before, but I haven't tried blending colours or really bothering with colouring in neat strokes etc... lol. And skin tones etc aren't exactly monocoloured, they have hints of other colours too (but I don't think that showed up well on this piece)

I started using Natalie Portman as a reference (but I was originally going to draw someone else) but it doesn't quite look like her, I editted it a lot.
I can't remember what led me to drawing them though. I usually use Lil McClarnon from Atomic Kitten as a reference for Lily (though many people disagree). And I use this guy: [link] / [link] as a reference for James - He's a leading news reader in my country. Hmm at least I can say experimenting always comes out with good results with me lol.
