They probably just want to preserve some quality and not waste money printing shit on shirts.

i dont think its right for them to vote whether a deisgn can be printed or not for a customer, if they are paying for it, why the hell not?

Felissauria In reply to Ryuco-The-Dog-Demon [2011-02-20 06:30:59 +0000 UTC]

No, it's voting whether or not it's available as a shirt for everyone to buy. Why make a shirt available for purchase when maybe 20 people are interested in buying it, when they probably need to print several 100 beforehand.

I really like the design of this, and of course the message. I think that the word "Dyke" should be exchanged with the word "butch" though....the y sort of vanishes and at first glance I really did think it said "Duke." I was like, "wow! I haven't heard that one yet..." & I only say switch it with "butch" because it's the only word not merging into the symbol, so it made sense to me.

Other than that, I love the change of fonts though I guess I'd also agree with whoever said that removing the lines below the symbol would add more to the design in total. The "human" in the center makes the point loud and clear, I think anyway. It would for sure make a great t-shirt design without the sentences as well. Just something to think about.

and you're an amazing person for being so non-judgmental and tolerant.

Anyway, I'm ashamed to admit that I used to be a homophobe. I'm glad I got over that; it was a really stupid part of my life.
We are all human beings, no exceptions.

Yeah, guys... why all the hatred?!! I know plenty of homosexuals and they're all completely normal people - contrary to some people's beliefs. I just don't get it. Love this by the way

SarkyFancyPants In reply to ??? [2011-02-19 02:36:58 +0000 UTC]

Homosexuality has exiested CENTURIES ago, itΒ΄s not something new. Homosexuals were a little more respected since then, nowdays stereotypes and other crap has destroyed the dignity of people. I accept corrections if IΒ΄m wrong.

IΒ΄m hetero, but I support homosexuals. ItΒ΄s their life, why would we waste our time telling others what to do or what to be.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

PALguy329 In reply to SarkyFancyPants [2011-02-19 03:22:33 +0000 UTC]

Well yea it has existed since the beginning of time. The "world" was against it either way because it was "against god and the bible" and other religious stupidity.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

SarkyFancyPants In reply to PALguy329 [2011-02-19 03:52:36 +0000 UTC]

Pfft religion, instead of fixing things, I think it destroys them. Seriously, I found a religious forum, IΒ΄ve read the most unbelievable things ever. One of the subjects in this forum that really shocked me and made me crack up at the same time was that women were inferior beasts, the way females dress nowdays was an embarrassment(talking about regular women), God just created them to serve as the males's company, they must do nothing but serve the males, stay in the kitchen and if they get out, they must be hit as punishment. That they are demonic creatures always seeking for pleasure... among other things... my version sounds lighter than the actual text.

Forums aren't exactly the best judge of anything. I take what's said on a forum with a grain of salt.

Starlow-FTW In reply to SarkyFancyPants [2011-02-19 04:14:51 +0000 UTC]

Most religious folks will let it go and don't harbor hatred; many let it go and say it's okay. I just kind of shut it out and ignore it all. Me condemning homosexuality won't change anybody who already is.

shinedust In reply to PALguy329 [2011-02-19 03:39:56 +0000 UTC]

Actually, homosexuality/bisexuality was considered normal in many cultures before the bible. It was a right of passage for men in some areas, and it was a right in general (with no penetration) in other areas. In many cultures high ranking males slept with other high ranking males because to sleep with a woman (who was seen as less than livestock) for anything more than to produce an heir was seen as ridiculous. In other cultures it was seen as quite normal to take on same-sex partners outside of the marriage--and in some cultures (those who agreed and practiced polygamy before it became a "religious" practice) it was perfectly natural and normal for women to partner off with other mistresses of their husband's.

There are still places in the world that are not, or never have, been against homosexuality/omnisexuality today. In fact, many Native American cultures use to highly respect people we consider to be transgender--because they could step out of the realm of their own being to understand the nature of the opposite sex. It was seen as a gift. Hell, even the Greeks/Roman's have a deity purely based on being transgender. So to say that the "world" was/is against "it" either way because of religion...is just false. It may be true today, especially in heavily Christian & Muslim areas of the world...but a lot of other religions still don't really care at all about someone's sexuality.

I am always surprised and disappointed when people I had considered nice and good display hatred or disrespect for a group of people they neither know nor understand. Surely curiosity would be more appropriate. Odd how people can have this hole in their personality.
