Description this tutorial is specially for Deadly, but other people are welcome to use it =]

i only have a few simple conditions:
- feel free to make them for your friends and family, but please do not sell any of these ponies for profit. the owner of the origional idea has requested this and it must be kept up.
- i'd love to see what you've created!
- it would also be nice if when you upload a picture of the pony to deviantart, you put a link to this tutorial so other people can find it.

part two can be found here: [link]
the finished pony can be found here: [link]

i'd also love comments on how helpful this is =]

Credit to for the idea. Her ponies are wonderful ^.^ This tutorial will be removed if ever she requests it to be so.

I don't, however, they are very easy to draw =] just trace the outline of a horse, or I'm sure you can trace the outline of the pattern I've got up on the tutorial if you are really struggling. Just make sure that it's chunky, since a bit of material is wasted anyway around the stitching.

i might have to remove the tutorial though, because i don't know if the person who i got the idea from is comfortable with me putting a tutorial up about it. i hope she is, but if not then you'll have to save this to your hard-drive.

ooooh! I'm so doing this when I get the change

reading this I got a funny thought.
You know craft stores that have sales all the time? Maybe you should invest in a small on-sale sewing machine. Nothing big and fancy, just a little one. It would make your ponies a little bit easier for you to make, and you'd be able to make them bigger with less time/ work out any kinks you don't like in them a bit easier...
Anyway, I'm def. trying your tutorial out.

i think my gran has a 'traditional' sewing machine somewhere (i'm not joking, it may well be from victorian england! XD)so i might give that a go before i buy one myself. it might not work because they're so small, but it's definately worth a go. i went to hobbycraft yesterday and i now have plenty of supplies!

Oh, and check out the message i left to Deadly above, because you might have to save this to your hard drive if you really badly want to try it.

okay, we have bits and pieces and all that for those kinda sewing machines... my dad's a pack rat. XD don't tell 'im i said that! hahahaha

and alrighty, I'll save it so I can come back and try it just in case. I'm currently working my way through this other tutorial by LudicrousLouisa just to see if I can make it through that one and then I'm gonna try one of these little guys.

Your herd is growing! Hahahahahaha!
