What kind of creature is Gigan, the Dorats and their variants (Ghidorah, Millenial) in your version?

Gigan is related to the Ghidorahs, but not in a traditional, phylogenetical sense. Gigan started off as a separate life form that is being corrupted by the Ghidorahs DNA virus.

Around how big are the kaiju in this universe? I'm assuming nowhere near Legendary Godzilla's proportions.

Well, every kaiju stays at about the same scale of size when compared to Godzilla; i.e. Ghidorah, Biollante, and Hedorah are taller than Godzilla; Rodan, Titanosaurus, Mecha-Godzilla, and Gigan would be roughly the same height; and Mothra, Baragon, Varan, and Anguirus are much smaller.
Godzilla X would be roughly equivalent to the Heisei Goji, so not quite as tall as Legendary's but pretty close.

Interesting. I figured with the more realistic saurian anatomy, they'd be smaller. Then again, if kaiju did exist - I think body structure would more or less be irrelevant as far as weight is concerned. I've always been partial to the idea that their bodies somehow manipulate gravity.
