Haha, this is cute. Wouldn't there be one character for the Anglo-Saxon's though? I'm curious as to why there are two here? I always imagined Albion as England's mother and a character for the Anglo-Saxons as his father. Then again I am more then likley to be extreamly historically inaccurate.

Well, the Angles and Saxons were two different lots of tribes from two different areas (including the Jutes, but no one seems to remember them), and they each held influence over different parts of the country, so making one character wouldn't sit too well with me :'|a Then of course there's Danelaw to consider.

Oh really? That does make sense. I thought the Anglo-Saxons where a people that originally came from the Angles, Saxons and Jutes by they where all actually still considered different tribes then? Why are they mostly refered to then just as the Anglo-Saxons? Did I not pay enough attention in history class? Lol, yeah, probly.

They came from different regions really (same general area, mind). And yes, they were considered different tribes - they tend to be referred to as Anglo-Saxons as they were an alliance of these two groups, and as such referred to jointly (like, for example, the Austro-Hungarian Empire).
