I was away at the weekend at the London MCM Expo, so no Halloween/ Samhain picture this year I'm afraid. I hope you all had a great time anyway!As for the Expo, it would have been great if not for the appalling attitude I suffered from one security woman late Sunday afternoon as the event was coming to a close. In any case, my complaint has been sent, and now all I can do is wait and encourage anyone else who was treated so disgustingly to not hesitate to let the organisers know. Seriously, that kind of behaviour was utterly unacceptable.
BUT ENOUGH TALK.
Chibi Rome and Germania for my remake of the Ancients A-Go-Go map. Rome could have turned out better. These guys are actually the only two characters I have the collectible cards for (stuck to the corners of my monitor), so they don't look too original. I have changed Germania's sword. Also which hand he uses. Lets not talk about that. It wasn't intentional.

2) I don't mean to get picky but this has been bugging me ever since you pointed it out. On Germania's sword, it looks fine, but I really need to say that there are no left-handed swordsman. I'm sorry, that just wouldn't stop bugging me until I said something. T_T

It's a bit of a long story, but she went utterly power mad and verbally abused us. We were in a public area of the facility (a public area where one of the cash machine's had taken my friend's card - hence us loitering whilst we waited for help), and she screamed at us to leave for not having a wrist band for the Expo event. Again, to make it clear, in a public area of the premises. When I tried to politely explain what the situation was, she refused to listen, insulted me, and demanded we get out immediately. Her whole attitude was appalling, and throughout the entire encounter she went out of her way to be as threatening as possible. I have never been so demeaned or humiliated in all my life.
After unsuccessfully contacting MCM Expo to let them know what had happened (it would appear I was outright ignored from the complete lack of response), I instead forwarded my complaint onto the site managers instead. They confirmed, much to my bemusement, that we had been well within our rights to be in that area even without a wristband. Needless to say, my opinion of the MCM Expo and the staff who run it has hence forth been extremely negative (to say the least).

Wow. For lack of a more eloquant way of wording, that is complete ass on her part. Abuse of authority is pretty hard to deal with, since the people abusing it would obviously have no problem stretching their powers even more when you try to stand up for yourself...I hope that never happens again! Well, at least you got the better part of it in the end- now there's a good amount of crazy fangirls who know about the incident and would probably cuss the chick out if they ever saw her again! ;D
