There's no secret really, I just spend ass-loads of time on it >.< There's not really much contribution in the way of skill or finess lolz.
The colours are something I'm having a lot of trouble with. I wouldn't describe them as "rich"... the final image is coming across as very bland :\ Some adjustment layer whoring might be in order XD

Realistic? ermmm I think I kept the saturation of the colours fairly low, and rendered lots of texture with a really tiny brush lolz

CRITIQUE:
I actually like the crop you chose to do for this image (i saw that it is part of a larger image) I like the technique youve used and it looks interesting and well done. I liked the "boobies" comment and it made me laugh, but I found it distracting. If it's supposed to be a humorous piece then I think it's fine 
Overall, I really like the piece
