Haha the skull thinking "Boobiez" really made me laugh. Didn't even have time to look long enough at the image!
How it's written in the description you cropped the image so I was wondering at the beginning. It'll probably look a lot better without the crop.
I see that you can shade really good and got an eye for light and shadow! Your style and technique right now is very good but it doesn't make your character look realistic yet.
The skintones of the face seem strange to me because they are not really pale nor really natural.
Until now you did an excellent job on this and I really wanna see the final result! I'm not gonna fave this but I'm going to fave the endversion and I'm gonna watch you!

The reason I cropped the original image is because this is just a preview.. I didn't want to give away too much
And you're right, I'm along way away from achieving realism. I tried to be as convincing as possible with the painting, but I was never expecting it to look real. I need a lot more practice with observational painting before I'm anywhere close to making something look realistic
The face is very much unfinished. It still needs some tonal adjustments and further blending. I'll take onboard everything you've said about it, thanks!

Lol, this picture wasn't inteded to be taken seriously. It's just a sneak preview, and I added the thought bubble and eyes and eyebrow to the skull for shiggles.
Most of the entries (this one included) haven't been finished yet, but I'm sure ~DeadXCross will stick a journal entry with all of them when the time comes.

I thought it was supposed to be taken kinda seriously, with all the detail and stuff. It's great. It's so good it should be in the rulebook, instead of John Blanche's work(come to think of it, he needs to be removed anyway. I wonder if he has a DA account...).

It depends how much people draw really. I haven't been painting very often these last couple of years... nowhere near as much as I did when I was still in school lol, so progress has been a bit slow.
But yeah, if someone's been very active with their art and doesn't show any sign of progress in 2 years... that would be slightly worrying XD
