Description

There was a Halloween-themed RP event a couple months ago in Roots, The Reaping.

The characters got drawn into a mysterious otherworldly crypt via some rust-red doors materializing out of thin air... and they were confronted with blighted scarecrows and pumpkins, and a ghost...! It seemed to be the spirit of a Hylian nobleman.. and he was out to ruin everyone's night.

It was an incredibly fun event, there was dice rolling to determine our combat success and at one point San managed to roll a ZERO... and got possessed by the ghost.

I drew some scenes and characters from the rp, to give people some bonuses to their rolls and to highlight some of the more impactful things that happened to San...

After getting possessed San was used by the ghost to attack the other characters before the others were able to take the ghost out. Coming out of their possession, San had very little awareness of what had happened and didn't react too well to what was going on around them. Luckily for everyone else they were incapacitated by what they'd endured, and in the end had to be carried out.

The next couple days are a complete blur to San, they don't know what happened. All they know is that Loq, of all people, took care of them while they were out of commission.

These events have made a big change in San's relationships with Loq and Keaka, and to a degree Elde as well. The only thing about Elde is San doesn't realize that the Kokiri they nearly killed that night is also the Korok who occasionally visits Rudania to get into mischief with the other Koroks native to the village. San still doesn't know this...

Around a month after the events surrounding that night, Loq is heading to the graveyard to start his night shift when he finds San waiting for him at the gates. They haven't seen much of each other since the event, and before the event San has been nothing but aggressive toward Loq. But tonight... it seems their tone has taken a significant change.

A thank-you gift of a hand-inked star chart, San worked off of their own limited knowledge and some materials they were able to get delivered to them from Inariko's library, to make a chart tailored to Rudania's slightly-more-northern skies.

San has come to accept that Loq, despite all his misgivings and deceits, really does have only good intentions at heart. In general, and towards San.

Only a short while later, Loq approaches San to ask for combat training. After some easy negotiation San agrees, and Loq's tutoring in martial arts begins! Something pretty strange is starting to form between the two of them.. :y
