Description
My first picture of Chris and Jill together. Don't they make such a lovely couple? I was determined to do a really nice picture with these two.Since I'd coloured the picture with a redback light I had to teach myself how to do lighting effects with the computer. That's why the shadow sucks.
Sometimes it feels like the backgrounds take more time than the actual picture, but surely its just because pens give me less grief than photoshop...
Resident Evill belongs to Capcom

I suppose I quite like Code Veronica the best, for having some of the best (*coughbritish*) villains of the series. And my favourite character.

I had a bit of a knee jerk reaction to RE4 intially (why no zombies?) buton the other hand... I might be willing to go to the game and give it a try now.

welcome. I do that too with my art programs. I will experiment on black and white comic book art to test something out and see how it looks

One thing I find hard with colouring on computer is cross-hatching. I had one picture where I'd done this for a characters cape and found myself colouring each individual square. Erk!

The program I use, Paintshop Pro 7, can select an area and there is a "darken" option that will lay whatever color you want over whatever is there and it fills in the crosshatched sections in an instant. What art program do you use?

Adobe Photoshop Pro 7. Next time I'll check and see if I can do that.

The best thing to do with an art program if you don't know all the stuff it can do is just practice on scrap pieces of art and experiment on them. It's how I learned mine, I never bothered to read the instructions on it
