Description
A light-hearted take on Alien versus Predator.I have absolutely NO IDEA what brought this on, other than some discussions I've had with several scientifically-minded friends about a methane/nitrogen-based respiration cycle.
I drew this as a quickie today with ink and markers. And no, I don't plan to start up a weekly series or anything like that. This was totally a lark!

Yes, Predator law enforcement is actually canon if you followed the older comics. There was a miniseries called "Bad Blood" from the late '90s or early 2000s that had a Predator that was specifically an agent of their Law. He hunted down a crazed Predator killer (the killer killed his own kind and everything else he could get his claws on - for fun, rather than for trophy/honor like most of the others up until that point). Messy series, but *terribly* fun. I think Dark Horse Publishing has all of the Predator material ever published recollected as Predator Omnibus vols 1 - 4, and in the AvP Omnibus vols 1 and 2. If you want canon history on the Predators, that's the way to go!
I think there might have been some Law elements in some of the other comics miniseries after 2000; I know a couple of the crossovers touched upon the idea. I'd have to go dig through my collection to find the references, though. It's been about ten years since last I delved deeply into the Predator universe. 
...Sorry; I do talk a lot about Predators once you get me going. They have been my favorite movie monster forever.

I realy like the idea of the predator and their design (iam the only one in my family who thinks theyr cute).
I would love to know more about their design (special colors on armor or tatoos) can you tell me a bit. PLZ? Or give me a link to a pic of one of them?

I apologize for the long delay. Life outside of the Internet has kept me very busy.
I don't know if much work has been done to describe Predator clans' armor design or tattoos. Most of what we have seen in the movies and comics concerns individual Predators, rather than whole clans. At the end of the movie Predator 2, we saw a gathering of many Predators, but they all looked different - not a clan, but perhaps a gathering of the best of each clan. Beyond that, I think only the Aliens vs Predator comics really touched upon "clan identity" when it came to the blood-mark (the one that is burned into a Predator's forehead after his first successful hunt).
As it has been about ten years since I delved deeply into the Predator universe, I expect that the fans have come up with more material about clans, factions, armor and tattoo designs, and other things of that nature.
A good starting point might be Wikipedia - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predator… . There are many DeviantArt Groups that are dedicated to Predators (aka Yautja) as well; many of the groups have links to Predator-related websites that would have even more information. A couple of the groups are avpalternative and A-Predator-Fanverse , both of which are still active. They have links to other groups. That should be enough to get you started. Good hunting!

Oh i actauyl have seen some stuff of their gallerys and already read a lot abou the predator.......not realy about culturell things but about their race.

At some point, I had a conversation with another Predator fan about the respiration cycle of the species. They inhale methane and nitrogen (based on what we've learned in the comics), and they exhale... what? We never could figure it out, but we suspected that it would be flammable. And what would be more fun than filling balloon animals with flammable gas, then making them explode?

I never could figure out what a reasonable cellular respiration cycle would be for these guys. They breathe in methane and nitrogen, stuff happens with the gas molecules at the cellular level (like it does with us - it's horribly complicated), then they exhale... what? I figured it would be fun if it was some combustible waste gas, but chances are good it's something inert that the plant life on their homeworld can use.

Yeah, one of these days I need to figure out how to actually fold a balloon Alien. I would probably need more than one balloon to make it work.
