Oooookay... Chaunn, the Pred-gal on the left, is mine. Nightblood, the Pred-gal on the right, belongs to ~Kaze-Kuroki .

I'll try to keep this explanation as simple as I can, because I honestly don't remember what half-whacked idea it was that spawned this image in my head. It went something like this:

Nightblood says, "Chaunn, tell me again why it is you don't have any of the guys strutting around you and showing off their trophies..."

Chaunn gives her a chuckling snort and answers with no small sense of irony, "Because my imaginary friend disapproves."

"Riiiiiight," Nightblood replies. "Didn't most of us give up our, erm, Imaginary Friends back when we were FIVE?"

"Uh huh," Chaunn says, "Except one of mine stuck around and I later found out he's not as imaginary as he wants us to think he is. Most of the crazy shitaki I get involved in is his fault."

Nightblood just shakes her head. "Gotta get over it one of these days, you know."

Chaunn shrugs and says, "Every time I try, he --"

Suddenly, over Chaunn's shoulder, Setg'in-de'paya Mni'awusthe pops onto the physical plane. The god of lightning, thunder, smooth dance moves beeps Nightblood on the nose. In a voice like the laughter of a saber-toothed tiger, he says, "EVERY TIME SHE TRIES TO 'COME TO HER SENSES' SHE, TOO, GETS BEEPED ON THE NOSE. HA!"

And then he disappears again.

"See what I mean?" Chaunn says with another shrug.

Nightblood just stands there for several minutes with her mouth hanging open.

Le sigh. Crazy gods. What can you do?

Heh heh heh... Poor Kaze-Kuroki. She wanted folks to do pictures of her Predator character, but I don't know if this is quite what she had in mind. I am sorry that she fell victim to one of my fits of insanity... But it was rather a lot of fun to draw.
